COUNSELING IN NASHVILLE & ONLINE ACROSS TENNESSEE

Therapy for the anxious, the exhausted, and the chronically “fine.”

On the surface, you’re managing life’s expectations. You show up, you handle things, you keep it together.

Under the surface? That’s a different story.

Pink coneflowers with orange centers in a garden with green foliage, a bee on one of the flowers.

I WORK WITH ADULTS WHO…

…seem like they have it all together, but are actually overwhelmed, anxious, and exhausted.

…resent being the friend everyone can count on, while feeling alone in their moments of need.

…are navigating the emotional highs & lows, identity shifts, and relationship changes during pregnancy & postpartum.

…feel like their life is being held hostage by intrusive thoughts & time-consuming rituals.

…are going through major life changes, such as career or academic change, matrescence, loss of a loved one, or a breakup.

…still have hope that life can be better than this, even if they don’t know how.

YOU’RE TIRED OF LIVING LIFE THIS WAY.

Something needs to change.

Imagine a life where showing up for yourself feels good.

Hi, there. I’m Rachel.

I offer an authentic presence: someone who is warm, funny, and real, because I believe in the power of healing within relationships.

I’m a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and modern millennial therapist based in Nashville, TN, seeing clients in-person at my Midtown office, or remotely across Tennessee. I love working with young adults and new parents who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, trauma, relationship challenges, and general life transitions. People-pleasing, hyper-independence, perfectionism, and spiraling thoughts are just a few examples of the common challenges my clients face. Through genuine human connection (and a little bit of humor along the way), I strive to help my clients go from stretched thin to feeling self-assured and fulfilled.

You don’t need to do this alone.

Many of the people who work with me have experienced the disappointment of feeling unseen, unheard, and have since learned to make themselves smaller and take up less space.

I’d like to change that.

I believe that we heal within the context of a genuinely connected relationship - not in isolation. Carrying wounds from previous relational experiences often makes it more challenging to open up with someone new and confront the past. I strive to meet you where you are and make the process feel as safe as possible, allowing you to take up space, voice your feelings, and reconnect with your authentic self that has been suppressed for so long.

If you're struggling with people-pleasing, boundaries, life transitions, or OCD, and you want a therapist who's warm, real, and occasionally funny - we're probably a great fit.

SPECIALIZING IN…

The Process

01 CONNECT

Schedule a consultation call — no pressure, no commitment. We'll talk about what's been going on, you can ask me anything, and we'll get a feel for whether we're a good fit. If it feels right, we'll get your first session on the books.

02 ATTEND

Show up as you are — you don't need to have it all figured out before we start. We will focus on building our trusting relationship. I will meet you where you’re at and move at a pace that feels right for you as we explore and gain understanding of your patterns, uncover the root of the issues, and develop strategies that fit into your life.

03 NOTICE

Notice what happens. Do you find yourself holding a boundary that previously felt impossible to do? Are you able to more easily find the self-compassionate part of you and channel that energy during moments of stress or difficulty? These are some of the small wins I hope we achieve. And if you are noticing any concerns, I welcome your feedback so we can figure that out together. I got you.
