ANXIETY THERAPY — NASHVILLE, TN
It’s me, hi, I’m the one who’s fine… I’m fine… it’s fine…
Except it’s not fine, and you’re tired of pretending it is. It’s okay to not be okay. And it’s okay to reach out for help.
Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic. Sometimes it looks like:
Never-ending mental checklist
Your mind never really shuts off — you're always running through what you said, what you should've said, or what's next.
Saying yes when you really mean no
You over-commit, over-explain, and spend way too much energy managing how others feel about you. And if you do say no? You feel terribly guilty.
Perfectionism
The things you do never quite feel good enough and you fear making mistakes. This may manifest as difficulty starting tasks or completing tasks, or maybe constantly re-doing a task until it feels “good enough.”
Physical tension
Tight chest, tense shoulders, upset stomach, shallow breathing, a jaw that never quite unclenches — your body holds the worry your mind can't release.
Anticipatory dread
Social plans, work presentations, or even simple phone calls can feel daunting or scary. Sometimes the anticipatory anxiety can lead us to avoiding these situations entirely, strengthening the anxiety cycle.
Procrastination
You put things off until the last minute and only seem to function and get things done when under pressure - not without added stress, though.
Lying awake at 2am
Your body is exhausted but your brain has decided this is the perfect time to replay every worry, fear, and "what if."
Hyper-independence
It may be difficult to rely on others or trust that loved ones want to and will be there for you. The fear of rejection or abandonment outweighs the benefits of asking for help, so you handle everything yourself to a fault.
Living a life controlled by anxiety is exhausting. Let’s flip the script.
MY HOPE FOR YOU…
I’d love for you to experience a life with calmer mornings: waking up without immediately feeling that knot in your stomach.
I’d love for you to recognize and honor your own needs without feeling guilty or selfish.
I’d love for you to feel comfortable in your skin and have the confidence to embrace your authenticity.
I’d love for you to have more trust in yourself, and be able to meet yourself with compassion when things go wrong.
I’d love for you to rest without “earning” it first.
I’d love for you to feel brave and do the scary thing anyway.

MY APPROACH
Compassionate, Collaborative, & Authentic.
I believe that healing isn't about fixing what's broken — because you're not broken. It's about understanding yourself more fully: why you feel what you feel, where it comes from, and how to meet yourself with compassion.
Together, we will explore the relationship between your anxious thoughts, feelings, sensations, and behaviors and explore new ways of responding to anxiety-inducing situations. We will work to understand where anxiety lives in your body and how it manifests during moments of stress or fear. Our exploration of the deeper roots beneath your anxiety — the relational patterns, your early experiences — will lead to greater understanding, self-compassion, and lasting change. The goal is to not be rid of anxiety, but instead to create a better relationship with your anxiety where you feel more in control of your choices.
Together, we will work towards crafting a balanced life with more peace, self-compassion, and self-confidence.
Change is possible.
Reaching out is often the hardest step. I’m here when you’re ready.
